Invisalign Success Stories

Over 500,000 people are smiling brighter thanks to the Invisalign system. See how just a few of their lives have changed with Invisalign.

I'm so glad I made the investment to go with aligners rather than metal braces. I've heard stories of people having food stuck in their metal braces, and I didn't want to go through that. It's so easy — all I have to do is remove my aligners when I eat.

I wanted my teeth straighter, but I didn't want to be in pain. My aligners are so comfortable, compared to the metal braces I had when I was a kid, that sometimes I forget I have them on.

I always wanted to have straight teeth, but never thought my smile would look this great. Plus, no one even knew when I was wearing them. I couldn't be happier!

At first, I was skeptical about whether or not to use plastic aligners to straighten my teeth, but I am very glad I decided to make the investment. In just about nine months my teeth were straightened using the clear, comfortable, and easy-to-remove aligners. I'm a busy guy, and using Invisalign fit right into my lifestyle.

Everybody comments on my new smile, even when I'm wearing the aligners. Plus, I can remove them at any time, so they don't affect my lifestyle.

Will Invisalign Fit My Life?

invisalign_life_logo

Invisalign treatment fits into your life however you want it to. Since your aligners are virtually invisible, most people won't even notice anything different. (Until your new smile is revealed, of course.)

The Invisalign system offers you convenience superior to any other option for treating orthodontic or dental issues. It's removable so you can take out your aligners whenever you feel the need — for business meetings or other occasions — which not only gives you flexibility, but can benefit your health, too.

No matter how busy you are, your schedule won't be weighed down with visits to your dentist or orthodontist. Depending on your personal case and your provider's preferences, you could have doctor visits as little as once every six weeks. These visits are fairly brief because in most cases you'll just be picking up your new sets of aligners and your doctor will be checking on your progress.

Drs. Chenin are one of the first offices in Nevada to offer the iTero 3D Light Scanner for Invisalign — No Impressions!

1. How often must I wear my aligners?

You must wear your aligners for up to 22 hours daily. You may remove them for eating, drinking and regular oral hygiene.

2. Are there any restrictions to what I can eat while in treatment?

No. Unlike braces, you may eat whatever you like as long as you remove the aligners before eating. Prior to placing the aligners back on, it is important to brush your teeth and the aligners after you eat.

3. Will wearing the aligners affect my speech?

Like any orthodontic treatment, there is a short adjustment period. The more you speak with the aligners on, the quicker you will adjust.

4. Is there any discomfort with Invisalign® treatment?

There will be some pressure and minor discomfort for a day or two after each initial insertion. This is a sign that your teeth are moving sequentially into their final position.

5. Can I chew gum?

It is recommended that you remove your aligners prior to chewing gum as the gum will stick to the aligners.

6. Can I smoke with the aligners in?

We discourage smoking with aligners as the cigarette smoke will tend to discolor them.

7. How do I keep my aligners clean?

Brushing them with toothpaste will keep them fresh and clean.

8. How often do I see an orthodontist while wearing Invisalign®?

Regular office visits are every five to six weeks. This will ensure that your Invisalign treatment is progressing as planned.

9. What happens after my treatment is complete? Do I need retainers?

All orthodontic patients are instructed to wear their retainers at night indefinitely. Sleeping with your retainers in at night will ensure a healthy bite and maintain the new position of your teeth.

10. How long does Invisalign treatment take?

Treatment time varies depending on the severity of the misaligned teeth. Treatment time can be shorter than traditional braces, between six and 18 months.

11. Does Invisalign work for kids?

Yes, if their teeth, including second molars, have grown in completely.
