Stephen T. Chenin, DDS
A native Las Vegan, Dr. Stephen Chenin is one of the few orthodontists in Nevada to be a Board Certified Orthodontist/Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Steve has over 25 years of proven clinical experience and was honored as one of the top dental practitioners in America. He was also chosen as a top dental practitioner in Las Vegas; and 215 Magazine rated him as the local community’s #1 Orthodontist.
A graduate of the prestigious USC Orthodontic Residency Program, Dr. Stephen Chenin is a community advocate who works with local schools, sponsors HUYS Soccer Teams, Little League Baseball, and gives his time to the Southern Nevada Dental Society. His private practice is highly respected and known for quality patient care, cutting edge techniques and technology. Dr. Steve is known for his friendliness, honesty, integrity, and compassion.
Dr. Steve and his wife, Linda, have five children, David, Daniel, Douglas, Dillon, and Darla. Dr. Steve loves spending time with his family camping, cruising, and traveling. He also loves to golf, fish, and build all kinds of radio-controlled “toys.”
Dr. Steve is pleased that his son, Dr. David Chenin, has joined Chenin Orthodontics. Both doctors are active members of the American Board of Orthodontics, American Association of Orthodontics, American Dental Association, Nevada Dental Association, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, and the Southern Nevada Dental Society. Chenin Orthodontics is the first practice in the state of Nevada to have two doctors who are Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Stephen Chenin and Dr. David Chenin are among the top 5% of Invisalign practitioners in North America and achieved an exceptional level of Invisalign experience.

David A. Chenin, DDS, MSD
A third generation dental practitioner and Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, Dr. David Chenin attended the University of the Pacific’s Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. After graduation Dr. David Chenin successfully achieved his Nevada, California, and WREB dental licensure. Then, he pursued his Certificate in Orthodontics and Master’s of Science at University of the Pacific’s Orthodontic Residency Program where he is currently an adjunct faculty member.
Dr. David Chenin also has extensive background and expertise in the Invisalign System. Prior to his residency, he served as Align’s Senior Clinical Quality Manager. He published the first clinical article on Invisalign in the Journal of the American Dental Association in 2003 and recently co-authored the textbook titled The Invisalign System.
Dr. David Chenin is a philanthropist who volunteers his skills for underserved children and low income dental clinics in the U.S. and other countries. He recently traveled to San Salvador, El Salvador with a medical team to treat and rehabilitate patients with cleft lip/palates and other craniofacial anomalies and syndromes.

Generations of Excellence
Dr. Joseph Chenin, a retired dentist, came to Las Vegas in 1951 where he started his practice at Nellis Air Force Base. He was the #17th licensed dentist in the city and throughout the decades he treated many of our favorite stars! In 1978, Chenin Orthodontics was founded by Dr. Stephen Chenin and Dr. David Chenin later joined the practice in 2000. Dr. Stephen Chenin has another son, Dr. Douglas Chenin, who is a practicing dentist in Northern California. The Chenin Family has proudly provided dental care to the Las Vegas valley for over 55 years.
